The Process

I will ask you to fill out a brief history of your condition and concerns. Next we will have about 15 minutes to go over this and if I feel I can genuinely help you we can set up a time for a full consult. The initial 15 minute conversation is free.

First Visit:

For the initial visit I prefer to meet the person directly either in NYC or Boston or in our home office in Vermont. Once a month we see patients in New York City and Boston and we maintain an office site in Brattleboro, Vermont. I have had patients come from as far away as the Middle East and Europe as well as from around the US. Trains from NYC and Boston come directly to Brattleboro, Vermont. Our home office is on 13 beautiful acres in the woods.

We prefer a two day visit with you in our home office in Vermont. The first day we will conduct the interviews and the second day we will go over and finalize the treatment plan with you.

  • Review of previous medical records, nutrition, laboratory results. Before the visit I may ask you to get a specific set of laboratory tests.
  • A visit of approximately 1 to 2 hours. We do telephonic visits, but our preference is for you to come in person to Vermont.
  • After you leave, the team reviews your lab work, nutrition, and our work up.
  • Based on this discussion we develop a wholistic treatment plan with guidelines for diet, supplements, and as appropriate homeopathic therapy.
  • We want to work closely with your personal medical provider and we can provide copies of our work to her/ him.
  • During your initial course of treatment, if you have other health problems we would like to assist you.

Supplements and Lab Tests

Generally we will have you purchase any supplements through my office as it is less expensive for you; we know the quality of the product because we know the specific suppliers.

Expectations

I ask each person to work with me for a six month period to allow a sufficient opportunity for healing. Generally you should see initial results within one to two months and significant improvement within six months depending on the severity of the illness.

If you come to Vermont, I ask that the client stay for two days. Day one is for the assessment, and the following day we review the plan.

Our Fees for Crohn's Disease Treatment

I charge $175 USD per hour. A four hour total for the work-up is average. Follow up visits by phone of a half hour are $100. I ask you to make a phone visit every two weeks for the first two months; then we can decrease the amount of calls after that as long as your condition is improving.

Short emails and phone-checks of less than 15 minutes are billed at $50. Payments can be made by credit card, cash, or money order. Payment & credit card information is expected at the time of appointment. My office can give you the insurance forms, but you will be responsible for billing your insurance company.
